BSNL has rolled out its 4G VoLTE services across India, enabling customers for activation to experience high-definition voice calls and improved network connectivity.
Here’s what you need to know about activating BSNL 4G VoLTE on your device.
Activation Process of BSNL 4G VoLTE
Check Device Compatibility
- A 4G VoLTE-enabled smartphone
- BSNL 4G SIM card
- Active BSNL mobile connection with latest 4G plans.
Check SIM Status
Your BSNL SIM must be 4G-enabled. If you’re using an older SIM, visit the nearest BSNL customer care center for a free SIM upgrade.
Network Settings
- Go to your phone’s Settings
- Navigate to Mobile Networks
- Select Preferred Network Type
- Choose 4G/LTE as preferred option in SIM 1
BSNL VoLTE Configuration
- Insert your SIM card in Slot 1
- Open Mobile networks
- Enable VoLTE Calls in SIM1
- Restart your device or On/Off Flight Mode once
- Look for VoLTE icon in status bar
SMS Activation
Send ACTVOLTE to 53733 from your BSNL 4G SIM.
For better results, you may need to:
- Send the message 3-4 times
- Make a call to 53734
Troubleshooting
If you don’t see the VoLTE icon:
- Ensure you’re in a BSNL 4G coverage area
- Update your device’s software to the latest version
- Reset network settings if necessary
