BSNL IFTV (Intranet Fiber Live TV) is a digital television service delivered through FTTH network that operates independently of regular internet data usage, offering 500+ live TV channels through a private CDN for superior quality.

The registration process requires an active BSNL FTTH connection, ONT configuration with VLAN 1900, and installation of the IFTV app on a compatible TV.

It functions as a hybrid between an OTT content provider and cable TV service, offering structured subscription-based digital TV content to BSNL FTTH customers.

• Revenue generated through advertisement-based mode
• Advertisements limited to 12 minutes per clock hour plus 3 minutes for channel promotions

BSNL IFTV Registration Process

1. Visit https://fms.bsnl.in/iptvreg
2. Select your state.
3. Enter FTTH number and validate.
4. Verify OTP sent to registered mobile.
5. Select IPTV vendor.
6. Submit registration.

The service requires an active BSNL FTTH connection and is currently available in select circles. Customers can choose between various packages based on their viewing preferences and budget requirements. For assistance with registration or package selection, contact BSNL customer care.

BSNL IFTV ONT Configuration Process

Step-by-Step ONT Configuration:

1. Access ONT Configuration

• Log into ONT management interface
• Navigate to WAN
• Click PON WAN
• Tick Enable VLAN
• Enter VLAN ID as 1900
• Select Channel Mode as IPoE
• Select Enable NAPT
• Select Admin Status as Enable
• Connection Type > Internet
• Default Reason > Enable
• Tick Enable IGMP-Proxy
• Select IPv4 in IP Protocol
• Select DHCP in WAN IP settings
• Select Disable in request DNS
• Save
• Check the Device Status

2. Go to Advance

• Click on Routing
• Select Enable
• Check IP Route table and Refresh if required

3. ONT Diagnostics

• Click on Ping
• Find Packets Transmitted and Packets Received

4. Do Multi Cast VLAN

• Click on Admin
• Click Multicast VLAN (If the right side Multicast Vlan box shows as empty, there is no need to setup)
• Find Packets Transmitted and Packets Received

The ONT configuration for BSNL IFTV or IPTV involves specific WAN settings and VLAN parameters, while customer onboarding can be done either through franchisee-initiated requests or new connection orders via the FMS portal.
